The Terra Remota Tinto, or red, blend is an enigma.  It is an intense maroon in the glass, and at 14% alcohol, it may give them impression that it is jammy and overbearing.  But, once you swirl it in the glass you will notice a complex and inviting nose of currants, red fruits, and licorice.  The palate is smooth and round with fine tannins and a nice acidity to provide balance.  The wine has a pleasing and seductive finish that is surprisingly light for this blend of Garnatxa, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo.
